Use These Copywriting Tips To Get More Visits To Your Site

Everybody knows that writing is important when it comes to making money from an online business. That doesn’t just mean high-quality, engaging writing in the form of blogs and articles, however. It also includes a variety of other tips and tricks that all of the most successful online business owners use to maximize web traffic, and as a result, their profit.

If you own an online business and you want to get more visitors to your site, here are some clever tips you can use that are guaranteed to boost your chances of drawing in more traffic to your website.

  1. Use a Human Voice
This should go without saying, but isn’t always common sense to people. If you want to draw people in, you have to sound as human and as relatable as possible. This can be hard to accomplish in just text form, which is why you should either practice your craft on the side or hire a writer who can do it for you. Across all channels, from social media to ads, emails, and more, knowing how to sound HUMAN will go a long way, as opposed to sounding like a corporate entity.

    2. Utilize an Effective CTA
A call to action can make or break your attempts to generate more web traffic. A well-done CTA will draw in tons of new visitors, while a bad one will actually turn people away and prevent those who might have otherwise given your site a chance from doing so. An effective CTA should be compelling, authoritative, enticing, convincing, and even a bit hyperbolic.

     3. A/B Test Various Different Versions of Your Copy
Even well-written copy might not generate the results you’re looking for. You might need to tweak some things here and there, and try out different versions to see what works. Remember to A/B test different versions of copy before you send it out on a mass level. This can help you maximize your success and minimize your failures, should they occur. (Hint, they will.)

     4. Keep it Entertaining
Flashy, entertaining copy works best for drawing in visitors. Use trigger words, exclamation points, and mysterious, shocking, or surprising themes for the best results. This goes for ad copy, social media copy, and guest blogging as well.

     5.Be Concise
People have shorter attention spans than ever and scroll through hundreds, if not thousands of images and ads per day. If you want to stand out, keep it concise. Get right to the point while also being entertaining or eye-catching enough to stand out from the crowd. This is a hard balance to strike and makes the difference between average copywriting and great copywriting.

Use These Tips to Instantly Boost Your Web Traffic
By using the tips we’ve laid out here you will almost certainly boost your site’s traffic levels. Remember to sound human, keep it short and sweet, and be entertaining. Doing so will provide you with more opportunities to create leads, and as a result, customers.
