.Hi Erika,
1. Please read the blog below. Please, preferably wear colors that reflect my brand. If you don't have any don't worry about it.
2. Pick one of the 7 points and give a brief summary in a video.

Hey, guys this Erika, Uzo's alter ego.
A new blog has dropped and it's called "7 Things you need to start doing or doing better to take your brand to the next level". You can see the link in the description below.
Point #3 from the blog is "Ask your clients for reviews"
Once you've provided a service for your client be sure to ask for reviews. Reviews give you social proof and allows new clients to have familiarity and trust before the reach out to you. Till next time this Erika with Uzo Design. Comment, like and share this video. Cheers!
(If you don't wanna do #3 you can pick any other one you like and summarize it)

7 Things You Need to Start Doing or Doing Better to Take Your Brand to the Next Level.
2021 is not so new anymore but it's never too late to start making the right moves to get your brand and business on the right track. I see many small businesses and brands neglecting to do the things I'm about to discuss or just being sloppy in their execution. So, here are a few things you need to start doing better.
1. Using your social media pages the way it was designed to be used
Your social media page banners and the circle are there for 2 different purposes. The circle is where your logo icon should go and it is should sit perfectly in the middle without any parts of your icon cut off. If you're the face of your brand and your brand is called something like John Doe Consulting Services then it would make sense for a visible profile image of your face to go in the circle.
Your Facebook banner is a place for you to display a relevant image that captures the essence of your brand. You can put an image of your physical business front, interior office space, your signage, or interaction with a client in that space. Please note that there are specific dimensions for your banner and profile picture size. Simply do a Google search to find out what they are.
Another major mistake people make when it comes to their social media pages is using a personal account as a business page. There's a difference between a business page and a personal account. An account wasn't designed to be used as a business page.
Spend some time discovering all the features your social media pages offers you. With Facebook, you can schedule posts, create invitations, run ads, etc.
2. Consistently create relevant and updated content
It is necessary to start creating relevant content that is useful to your demographic. Doing this will keep them visiting your page more frequently and engaging with your brand. By creating relevant and updated content the search engines will rank you higher, this means that when people are doing searches related to your industry, for example, "Barbershop near me" your business is more likely to be recommended.
What qualifies as relevant content? Relevant content is simply things related to your industry that your demographic will find useful and that would be appropriate coming from you. For example, if you're a hairstylist you can post hair maintenance tips for your clients or share beauty products that will be helpful to your clients as opposed to talking about muscle cars.
While creating original content is best you don't always have to do so. It's best to have a good mix between your original content and ones gathered from other sources.
3. Start asking your clients for reviews
I find it interesting that many businesses don't have any online reviews from their clients. Reviews are useful for giving your brand social proof. If you have good reviews it reassures new clients interacting with your brand before reaching out to you that you might be the one to solve their needs. Reviews also serve as content that factors into your online content ecosystem. There are many places where your clients can leave reviews for you. A few examples are on your Google My Business page, Yelp, Trust Pilot, your website, etc.
4. Create and post visual journals of your brand and work
What this simply means is for you to take photographs of your work that showcase your work process, interaction with a client's brand, products, before and after pictures of your work, a vlog, digestible tips, or tutorials that are useful to educate or inspire your audience.
5. Shout out your clients and ask them to return the favor
Acknowledge newsworthy events involving your client on your social media page and ask them to give you a mention as well. The key here is to make sure it's relevant and feels natural. An example is if your client is a construction company building a new youth center in your community you can bring attention to the good that they are doing in your community on your social media page.
6. Record in the right format with the right equipment
It is true that the smartphones available now have better cameras compared to years ago. Still, there are designated professional cameras that are best used when recording video for best results. I understand that many businesses not doing well now may not be able to afford professional equipment. Don't let that discourage you. Learn to make do with what you currently have while making plans to upgrade. For the time being, learn the proper techniques to shooting videos and buy a used or less expensive tripod to help keep your shots steady, shoot in good lighting and shoot in a landscape format so that there aren't any awkward black spaces on both sides of your video.
7. Create a brand style guide
A brand style guide consists of your logo, exact colors for print and web as well as a font family and rules that govern their usage in your brand. If this sounds foreign to you do some more research on YouTube or contact a graphic designer to help you with the implementation of your brand style guide.
Being proactive in properly implementing these tips while maintaining exceptional service or creating a memorable experience can make the difference in being able to scale up your business and land bigger clients that believe in your brand's ability to solve their problems.
Which of the 7 tips mentioned above are you planning on implementing to enhance your brand and which brands are you looking to for inspiration? Lets us know.
